Our Story

In the summer of 1986, the Lord brought Pastor Ed Conway together with a group of 10-15 people who were meeting for Bible study in Lowell. The Bible study grew, and in March 1987, we began meeting formally as a church at the Moody School in Lowell. By the fall of 1990, the church had grown to about 100 people, and we moved to a rented space. We outgrew the space and moved to 131 Stedman Street. In the fall of 1993, in an amazing set of details, the fellowship was able to purchase 16,000 sq/ft of space which serves as our current home.

In the fall of 2013 we added an outdoor playground and recreational space which we call "The Field @ 147" and in May of 2014 we became a two campus church - Chelmsford MA and Manchester NH. We have grown into a multi-congregation and multi-cell church with five weekend worship services, home fellowship groups, and small groups which minister to people throughout the week.

We are excited to discover what's next as we seek to love God and love people in the Merrimack Valley!
